THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Secretary K Jayakumar distributed the fourth Madhavikutty Award instituted by Dr Kamaladas Foundation.
Adhila A Kabeer, a 12th standard student of Alappuzha TD Higher Secondary School received the award for her poem Ammalu. The award consists of Rs 5,001, citation and a plaque.
M G Shasibhoosan presided over the function. PSC chairman K S Radhakrishnan delivered the keynote address. M D Nalapat, son of Madhavikutty, made the commemoration speech.
S R Sakthidharan, P Suprabha, Devadath G Purakkad, Kamal M Makkiyil and Kayamkulam Yunus spoke.
