Film Appreciation Camp for Students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Federation of Film Societies of India - Keralam, and Bharat Bhavan, a State Government institution, are jointly organising a film appreciation camp in the capital city in a bid to attract students to world famous movies.

The camp, which is intended for 50 selected high school and higher secondary school students, will be held at Vyloppilli Samskriti Bhavan from May 18 to May 20.

Expert film makers, critics and technical hands from the Malayalam filmdom will lead the classes, the Federation of Film Societies of India said in a statement.

Visual language, history of cinema, criticism, cinematography, workshops and film screenings will be held over the three days. The camp is a residential one and the organisers will arrange food and accommodation.
