Agriclinics: KAU to conduct training programme

Kerala Agriculture University (KAU) in association with NABARD will conduct a training programme on Agriclinics and Agribusiness Centres (AC&ABC) to groom agri consultants and entrepreneurs.

 The initiative is aimed at ensuring effective implementation of a programme launched by the Union Government to set up agri clinics and agri business centres in all districts in Kerala.

Under this programme agricultural professionals would imparted specialised training in areas related to agriclinics and agribusiness enabling them to become an agri consultant or an entrepreneur.

Unemployed or retired agri graduates having a degree/diploma in agriculture or allied subjects such as animal husbandry and dairy,  from an Central or State Agricultural University/ICAR institutes in India and are eligible to apply.

Selected candidates will be provided free boarding and lodging. Total seats are limited to 35. To create awareness about this programme among the potential candidates, bank officials and department officers, a sensitisation programme will be held at RARS, Pattambi, Palakkad on December 18 and College of Agriculture, Padanakad, Kasargod on December 19.

Interested candidates desirous of undergoing training may apply in the prescribed form enclosing a passport size photograph and a copy of degree/diploma certificate.

Duly filled in applications shall reach Nodal officer, Training Service Scheme (TSS), College of Agriculture, Vellayani , PO, Thiruvananthapuram- 695522 on or before December 15, 2012.                

Eligible candidates will be called for an interview. Selected candidates will have to remit a registration fee of Rs 500 as DD drawn in favour of MANAGE, Hyderabad.
