Tagore birth anniversary to be celebrated

Sopanam Institute of Performing Arts and Research is all set to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of  poet Rabindranath Tagore.

The function to be held at Hassan Marikkar Hall on December 11 will be inaugurated by actor Madhu, said ‘Sopanam’ chairman P Narayanakurup in a press conference here on Saturday.  On December 11, 12 and 13 there will be various programmes including visualisation of plays written by the poet.
