Energy Conservation Awards

Hindustan Newsprint Ltd, Velloor, Kottayam has bagged the Kerala State Energy Conservation Award for best performance among large-scale energy consumers in the state. 

Among medium-scale energy consumers, United Breweries Ltd, Palakkad is the best unit.

The best performance award for non-profit organisations was bagged by the Energy Conservation Society, Thiruvananthapuram. For buildings category, BSNL telephone exchange at Panampilly Nagar is the winner.

 Ammini Energy Systems Pvt Ltd, Thiruvananthapuram has been rated as the best performing firm among manufactures and traders of energy efficient systems. 

In the category of colleges, Kerala Ayurvedic Studies and Research Society, Kottakkal, Malappuram is the best performer in energy conservation.

 Commendation certificates for MRF Ltd, Kottayam and Apollo Tyres, Perambra, Thrissur (large-scale energy consumers), Coconut Lagoon, Kumarakom, Kottayam and Liquid Propulsion System Centre, ISRO, Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram (medium-scale energy consumers ), Dinesh Foods, Kannur (small-scale energy consumers), Integrated Rural Technology Centre, Palakkad and KSEB Officers’ Association (non-profit organisations), Team Sustain, Ernakulam and Santosh C J, Kottayam (Research and Innovation) and a few more in other categories have also been announced.
