Electricity Workers Federation plea

The Kerala Electricity Workers Federation has demanded a detailed investigation into the power crisis and financial crisis of the Kerala State Electricity Board.

Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, Federation president A N Rajan said the faulty planning of the Board is to be blamed for the current crisis.

The Board has now increased the electricity production at hydel projects from 10 MU to 20 MU which will lead to the drying up of reservoirs ny March 2013, he alleged.

Federation general secretary M P Gopakumar and working president S H Shanawas attended the news conference.
