THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sindhuja Varma, working as senior manager, human resources, at a leading multinational company in Technopark, has received the ‘Leading woman in human resources award’
instituted by the Global Business Information.
The third edition of ‘Women leaders in India awards 2011’ was organised by Global Business Information Private Limited, a UK-based organisation and took place in December at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai in association with NDTV Profit.
In each category, over 200 nominations received from all over India were scrutinised and shortlisted by an eminent panel of judges, and then by the NDTV jury, bringing the number to five in each
category. The final winners were then chosen by an international jury.
The awards were given away at the annual conference in Mumbai.
