THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: : Brigadier Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Director General, NCC Kerala and Lakshadweep HQ, has won this year’s Air Command Golf Tournament. The tournament was held at Trivandrum Golf Club on Saturday. Sandeep Kumar won the tournament with 35 points.
Organised by the Southern Air Command (SAC), the tournament is played over 18 holes on a single day and is open to all members of the Trivandrum Golf Club, including serving and retired officers from Army, Navy, Air Force, state police and civil services.
The winner is awarded a replica of the Air Command Cup.
The tournament was inaugurated by Air Marshal S P Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, SAC. The SAC conducts sporting events such as these to promote and foster the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Senior Air Staff Officer (SASO) Air Marshal Jasvinder Chauhan and Air Vice Marshal K P Nair, SOA of HQ SAC, also attended the function.
