THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has said that a foolproof mechanism is in place at Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple for hundi counting.

The TDB president said in a release here that some media reports alleging irregularities in counting were aimed at maligning the officials.

The arrangements were in accordance with the suggestions of the Local Fund Audit Department.

18 CCTV cameras, two rotation cameras and 11 night vision cameras have been installed to prevent any malpractice by the employees.

The counting process is monitored by various officials, including Devaswom Board president, special commissioner, Devaswom Vigilance Police superintendent and devaswom vigilance officer.
