THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KSEB would open offices with bill payment facility in all panchayats which lack offices at present, Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed said on Tuesday. “The offices would be opened in panchayats which does not have electrical section offices or sub-engineer and overseer offices,” he said.
The Electricity Minister was speaking after launching the website of the Kerala Electricity Employees’ Confederation (INTUC) here.
The government would take steps to solve problems caused by the Model Section initiative of the LDF Government. “The initiative had brought in small benefits and huge inconveniences,” he said. MP and confederation president K P Dhanapalan presided over the function. M K Raghavan MP released the annual issue of’Vidyut Tharangam’ magazine. Confederation general secretary M S Rawther presented a report on the occasion.
