THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Range IG Sheik Darbesh Sahib submitted the inquiry report to DGP Jacob Punnose about Vinod Krishnan, former Sub-Inspector of Tiruvalla, who returned the passport of Alex C Joseph, who was nabbed by the immigration staff of Hyderabad airport on November this year.
Alex Joseph is facing charges of smuggling luxury cars to India. ‘’It was following the media reports that the then Sub-Inspector of Tiruvalla returned the passport of Alex Joseph that an inquiry was conducted,” IG Sheik Darbesh told ‘Express’.
After he was held in Hyderabad, police had brought Alex Joseph, who allegedly smuggled more than 400 cars, to Kerala.
