THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Trivandrum Chapter of the Indian Institute of Metals will organise an international conference on ‘Advances in metallic materials and manufacturing processes for strategic sectors’ (ICAMPS - 2012) from January 19 to 21.
The conference will be inaugurated by Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman K Radhakrishnan at Hotel Uday Samudra, near here, at a function to be presided over by Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre director P S Veeraraghavan.
Former secretary of the Department of Science and Technology P Rama Rao will deliver the keynote address. The two lead lectures will be delivered by ISRO former chairman G Madhavan Nair and Indian Institute of Science faculty member S.Ranganathan.
