THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The All-India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) has alleged that the UDF Government was trying to destroy the Kudumbashree movement. The elections to the office-bearers’ post of Kudumbashree’s three-tier administrative system-Neighbourhood groups (NHGs), ADS and CDS were to be completed in November but has been postponed many times dragging it to uncertainty at many places, a statement from the Association said here.
There has been move to include people with political leanings into the system. The day-to-day working of the Kudumbashree is also affected.
In protest against this, the Association would take out a march to the district administration headquarters in all districts on January 27.
