THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A blood donation camp was conducted at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) here as part of ‘Conscientia’, the annual astronomy and technical festival of the college.
It was organised with the help and support of the VSSC blood donation forum, in association with Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology and Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Dr Sulochana, Dr Usha (Sri Chitra) and Dr Sajith (Medical College) supervised the camp.
A total of 68 students donated blood, out of which 21 were participants from other universities attending the fest. Blood donation camp has been a part of Conscientia for its past three editions.
