THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the city of film festivals, the City Corporation is also planning to conduct a film festival for children. Titled Drisya, the film festival is, however, scheduled to be held right in the midst of annual exams on March 16 and 17.

The feature films, that are part of the festival, will be screened from 10 am at the Kalabhavan Theatre.

In addition to this, the Corporation also plans to hold another festival titled ‘Kanavu’ that will have performances by students who have mastered the traditional art and dance forms. This is part of the initiative to promote cultural heritage of the state.

Kanavu will begin on March 17 evening at the Gandhi Park.
