THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A petition was filed in the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court (JFCMC)(1) here, against Anoop Jacob, the UDF candidate in Piravom constituency for allegedly hiding the details about the cases and punishment against him in the affidavit filed along with the nomination papers for the election.
Neyyatinkara P Nagaraju, has requested the court in his plea to charge a case against Anoop under Section 125 (a) of the Representation of the People Act. JFCM K P Sunil would consider the petition on March 21, incidentally the day of counting of votes in Piravom.
