THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed inaugurated the first state conference of the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust on Saturday. He likened Sai Gramam to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a model community. Dr Subhadra Nair presided over the function.
The Trust is currently implementing nearly 60 projects in 13 districts of the state. About 500 delegates are attending the conference. Mudakkal panchayat president Advocate Lenin, Trust founder and executive director K N Anandakumar and Trust vice-chairman K Gopakumaran Nair were among those present on the occasion.
