THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here on Tuesday framed charges against Madathil Raghu, an NRI businessman from Kollam, and his business partner Egypt-born British national Ahmed Mohammed Al Jalak, in the case pertaining to a drunken brawl involving the two at the Thiruvananthapuram airport.
The incident occurred on April 7, 2009, at the airport while both the accused were coming from Dubai.
Al Jalak who was in an inebriated condition got into a tiff with the CISF officer posted at the airport, following which he was arrested and later released on bail. The counsel for the accused denied the charges.
