THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Shyam P S of Kidangara, Alappuzha, and Shyam Kumar N of Thenkurissi, Palakkad, have shared the ‘Green Individual Award’ for 2011, instituted by the Kerala State Biodiversity Board.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy announced the Greed Awards 2011 here on Wednesday. The Tropical Institute of Ecological Science, Velloor, Kottayam, has won the Green Institution Award.
Green School Award - Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Lakkidi, Wayanad, and, SVG Vocational Higher Secondary School, Kidanganoor, Pathanamthitta.
Green College Award - Nehru Arts and Science College, Kanhangad, and Christ College, Irinjalakkuda.
Green Electronic Media Person - Sreekala M S and T R Ratheesh, Indiavision, Kochi
Green Journalist - R Samban, chief reporter, Deshabhimani, Thiruvananthapuram.
