Social uplift of women is necessary to ensure balanced growth of any community, said Congress leader M M Hassan.
Speaking after inaugurating the women’s forum of Palayam Mahallu Samrakhshana Samithi here on Wednesday, Hassan said women should be brought to the mainstream of the society.
Forum chairperson Dr Aysha presided over the function. Dr P Shanavas, Imam P K K Ahammed Kutty Moulavi and Shahul Hameed attended the function.
Forum vice-chairperson Bismi Sainudheen welcomed the gathering and Lili M Hussein proposed a vote of thanks. ENS
