A mass run was organised at the Sanghumugham beach on Saturday as part of the 64th NCC Day celebrations.
Brigadier G Subramaniam flagged off the run which was organised by the NCC Group Headquarters. 300 NCC cadets and NCC trainers participated. After the mass run, the NCC cadets removed the garbage from the beach including plastic waste. NCC director Col P G Krishna, NCC Group Commander J K Achuthan and other officials also attended the programme.
