A Law Official Language Publication Cell will be inaugurated by Finance Minister K M Mani on November 26. This cell will translate all the directives and orders of the Supreme Court and the High Court to Malayalam language.
The translation will be in the form of a journal. An exhibition and sale of Official Language (Legislative) Commission’s Central law books translated into Malayalam has also been organised at the Durbar Hall of the Secretariat.
A 20 per cent discount has been announced on these books. A discussion on the practical difficulties in translating the court orders into Malayalam will also be held at the Law Department.
