Mar Ivanios College and Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School emerged overall champions in the college and school categories in the second Eco Fest organised by the Gandhian Study Centre, Kerala University, at University Students’ Centre in the city.
Darsana Higher Secondary School, Nedumangad, and Christian College, Kattakkada, were the runners-up. The valedicory meeting on Tuesday was inaugurated by poet V Madhusoodanan Nair. R Narayanan Thampi, former State secretary of Kerala Madhya Nirodhana Samithi, presided over. Poet D Vinayachandran was the chief guest.
