KU-Warsaw University academic tie-up

The Political Science Department of the Kerala University is joining hands with the Warsaw University, Poland, for an academic tie-up, the Kerala University said on Tuesday.

KU Vice-Chancellor Dr A Jayakrishnan and Dr Boguslaw Zaleski of the Warsaw University will exchange copies of agreements in this regard on Thursday at a brief function at the Political Science Department.

The two institutions are planning to cooperate in the organisation of study and research activities, faculty and student exchange, short-term courses and cultural exchange.

A one-day seminar after the exchange of MoUs will be the first activity in this direction, Kerala University officials said. The seminar will be on the relationship between India and the European Union. Dr Zaleski, Dr Hanna Schreiber, Dr G Gopakumar, Dr K M Seethi and C M A Nair will speak.
