Institute of Journalism course results announced

The exam results of the post-graduate diploma course in journalism conducted by the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club’s Institute of Journalism have been announced.

The gold medal instituted in the name of K M Cherian by Malayala Manorama for editing was bagged by N Amina. The cash awards instituted in memory of K C John were secured by Abhilash Gopakumar (English) and B S Anoop (Malayalam). The gold medal for the electronic journalism course was won by V P Vineetha.

The K Sukumaran Memorial gold medal for reporting instituted by Kerala Kaumudi, the Krishnamohan Memorial gold medal instituted by Mathrubhoomi for the student who scores the highest mark, the cash award instituted in the name of A K Bhaskar for practical subjects, the N Kesavan Nair cash award instituted for the highest mark for editing and reporting papers were bagged by George Varghese Chacko.

Entrance exam

The first list of the entrance exam for admission to post-graduate diploma course conducted by the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club’s Institute of Journalism has been published. The interview for the entrance will be held on August 26, 27 and 28. The results and the time of interview are available at the website, www.keralapressclub.com.
