Three Passenger Trains Cancelled

Owing to maintenance work on track, the following passenger trains under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division will remain cancelled on January 5, a railway release said.

Owing to maintenance work on track, the following passenger trains under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division will remain cancelled on January 5, a railway release said.

Train number 56381/56382, passenger trains between Ernakulam Junction and Kayamkulam via Alappuzha (the train leaves Ernakulam at 10 am and returns from Kayamkulam at 1 pm), will remain cancelled to take up rail renewal and  welding works between Thuravoor and Cherthala stations.

As yard remodelling and doubling work at Piravom Road station is underway, train number 56387/56388, passenger trains between Ernakulam Junction and Kayamkulam via Kottayam (the train leaves Ernakulam at 11.45 am and returns from Kayamkulam at 4.40 pm), will remain cancelled.

Train number 56336/56335, passenger trains between Kollam and Punalur (the train leaves Kollam at 11 am and returns from Punalur at 1.50 pm), will remain cancelled for doing  rail renewal and welding works between Kollam and Kilikollur stations.
