 He was speaking at the ‘Azhchakoottam’ weekly discussion organised by P N Panicker Foundation. The topic for the discussion was ‘Gadgil-Kasturirangan Reports and Realities.’

 If a practical attitude of conserving the environment by protecting farmers and their rights is taken, Gadgil-Kasturirangan reports can be welcomed, he said.

 In the meeting chaired by Foundation vice-chairman N Balagopal, T K Thampi, Vijayakumaran Nair, B R Nair, A Mohankumar, Sulaiman Ravuthar, K Muraleedhara Prasad and K Rajan Babu spoke.
