Amicus Curiae Reports Anomalies

Gopal Subramaniam, amicus curiae appointed by the Supreme Court in the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple case, has reported to the apex court several anomalies in the temple management.

He accused the government of attempting to tender the renovation works of the temple pond at exorbitant rates.

An order of the apex court on enhancing the security arrangements at the temple was torn off by some staff of the temple, he said.

It is learnt that the amicus curiae has told the court of producing photographs as evidence of some anomalies.

The court directed him to submit a detailed report next week.
