Convention on Guru from April 30

The fifth Sree Narayana convention will be held at Chempazhanthy Sree Narayana Gurukulam from April 30 to May 2.

On April 30 Prakasananda Swami will hoist the flag at 8.30 am and at 9 am Gururatna Jnana Thapaswi will inaugurate the convention, which will be presided over by Prakasananda Swami.

Hrithambaranantha Swamikal will lead a class based on the book ‘Brahmavidya Panchakam’ at 10.30 am.

In the afternoon session, K N Balaji will lead a class based on Kumaranasan’s ‘Gurupada Dasakam’. Avayananda Swami will conduct a class based on ‘Svanubhava Geethi’ written by Sree Narayana Guru.

On May 1, Asha Pradeep, Dharmachaithanya Swami, Ramesh and M Devakumar will take classes on various books.

On May 2, B S Vasanthakumari, Soumya Anirudhan and Shivaswarupananda Swami will take classes. Time will also be allotted for question-answer sessions.

As part of the convention, a painting competition will be held for students from 10 am to 1 pm on April 27.

A free eye-testing camp will also be organised for the pubic from 9 am to 1 pm on the same day.
