A total of 1.06 lakh, out of the 1.19 lakh candidates who had applied for the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examinations, appeared for Paper I - Physics and Chemistry - on the first day of the exam on Monday.
Paper II (Mathematics) of the engineering entrance exam will be held on Tuesday from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
The medical entrance exam will be held on Wednesday from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm on the same day.
