THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The investiture ceremony of the school council of Army Public School, Pangode, was held on Wednesday. The chairman of the school and Station Commander of Pangode Military Station Brigadier Samir Salunke was guest of honour.
The programme commenced with a Sanskrit prayer song to mark the Sanskrit week celebrations. Brigadier Samir Salunke invested the students with their appointments for the academic year 2014-15.
School principal Sindhu Suresh presided over the function.
Swapna Salunke, director, Family Welfare Organisation, and Col Girish Babu, Staff Officer, Army Public School, were present. Newly-appointed school captain Krishnaprasad thanked the gathering.
