Saplings Given to Students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swasthi School of Music and Dance, jointly with Green Globe Volunteers, distributed saplings among the students of St Mary’s HSS, Pattom the other day in an effort to promote afforestation among the younger generation.

 Around 300 students were handed over saplings in the function, which was inaugurated by Bishop Samuel Mar Irenios.

 The Swasthi Charitable Society also held an inter-school painting competition in connection with the Independence Day at the school.

Students from schools across the district participated in the competition. The winners will be felicitated at the annual meeting of Swasthi School of Music and Dance slated to be held in November.
