18-year-old Dies in Mishap

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An 18-year-old youth lost his life when his car turned turtle while practicing car stunt here on Monday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Gokul, son of Raveendran, of ‘Gokulam’, Pullathuserry, near Kazhakoottam.

“The accident occurred around 3.30 pm while he was practicing stunt near Thumba. He lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle around four times,” the police said.

Though he was rushed to the hospital, he was declared brought dead.

The body is kept in the mortuary of the Medical College Hospital and would be released to the relatives after autopsy.

“He was a student of SN College, Chempazhanthy,” the police said.
