Invalid Cheque: Man Held

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The City Police on Friday arrested a person who duped a home appliances shop owner by handing over an invalid cheque to purchase goods worth Rs 2.50 lakh.  The arrested was identified as Sakeer Hussain, 45, of Rani Mahal, Vettuvilakam, Vazhimuku, Balaramapuram.

According to the police, Sakeer Hussain purchased two LED TVs, three mobile phones and one camera from the shop at Pattom and handed an invalid cheque to the owner.
