En Swaram on DD

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DD Keralam will air a star-studded musical show ‘En Swaram’ from December 22. Conceived and directed by Symphony Krishnakumar, the programme will feature a line up of 60 singers who will showcase their talent in 130 episodes.

The first schedule of the show will have singers like Mohammed Aslam, Vidhu Prathap, Sudheep Kumar, Kallara Gopan, Rakesh Brahmanandan, Rajasenan, Kalabhavan Sabu and Rajalakshmi.

Swaram.jpgEach singer will present songs of their choice from Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil, adding variety to every episode of the daily show. The programme will also have a special segment called Masters’ Choice where K S Chithra, Hariharan, Usha Uthup, Manjari, Madhu Balakrishnan, Unnimenon, Gayathri and many others will present their favourite songs. The lighting and stage stetting, designed to give the audience the same feel as the super hit musical show Symphony, is done by Nanda Kumar T Menon.
