THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 78-year-old man was found dead in a pond near Vadasserikonam in the Kallambalam police station limits on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sukumaran Pillai alias Sundara Pillai of Thokadu Varkala. According to the polce, he was a daily wager and used to spent night infront of a shop near Thokadu. “He was not with his family, include wife and four children, from last thirty years. It was on Sunday morning around 6.30 am, his body found inside Nambiarkulam at Vadasserikonam. After conducting inquest, the body was shifted to mortuary at Medical College hospital here,” the police said.
