The duty of the agencies is to identify and encourage entrepreneurs below the poverty line to start self-employment projects in urban areas and ensure a source for sustainable income generation.

It also means ensuring support and introducing better sources for loans to carry out the best projects successfully.

The agency has to prepare a project idea, goals, action plan, project duration, business model, responsibilities, financial analysis of the project and expected results from the project in the letter head of the agency and submit it to the Kudumbashree Mission office with complete address of the agency and phone number before February 15.

Agencies have to present the details of the select projects before the expert committee of the Kudumbashree.

The projects suggested by the committee will be presented in the entrepreneurship melas hosted by Kudumbashree.
