LNCPE Workshop from Today

The Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE) is organising an international workshop on sports management on February 10 and 11.

The Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE) is organising an international workshop on sports management on February 10 and 11. Eminent sports experts will address various sessions of the two-day workshop, LNCPE principal G Kishore told reporters here on Saturday.

The workshop will be inaugurated on February 10 at 9.30 am Sports Council chairperson Padmini Thomas will preside over the inaugural function and Chief Secretary E K Bharat Bhushan will be the chief guest.

Among those who will address the workshop are Dr Packianathan Chelladurai, professor, Troy University, USA, Dr David J Shonk, School of Hospitality, Sports and Recreation Management, James Madison University, USA, Boyun Woo, School of Sport Science, Endicott College, USA, Dr Hyjin Bang, Florida International University, Miami, USA, Wirdati Mohd Radzi, University of Malaya, Malaysia, Nilmance Sriboon Chandrakasem Rajabhat University, Thailand, and Julien Buhazjezuk, International University of Sports Federation - FISU, Lausanne, Switzerland.

DGP K S Balasubramanian will be the chief guest at the valedictory on February 11 at 4 p.m.  National Games Secretariat CEO and secretary Jacob Punnoose will preside over.
