Two Held for Selling Pirated CDs

The Anti-Piracy officials, along with police, conducted surprise raids on shops in Attingal, Malappuram and Thirur. Two persons found selling pirated and porn CDs were arrested. The arrested have been identified as Harisa,22, owner of Film City shop in Thirur and Abubekar Siddique, 46, who runs Paradise CD shop in Malappuram town. Around 2,000 CDs were seized from them.

The police registered a case against two persons for selling CDs on the footpath in Attingal. A team led by APC Deputy Superintendent S Rafeeq conducted the raid. SIs of Malapuram, Thirur and Attingal took part in the raid.
