ICAFM from Tomorrow

CSIR-NIIST is organising an International Conference on Advanced Functional Materials (ICAFM - 2014) from February 19 to 21 at Mascot Hotel. Leading scientific societies like Indian Institute of Metals (IIM)-Trivandrum chapter, Materials Research Society of India (MRSI)- Trivandrum chapter, Indian Ceramic Society (InCerS)- Kerala Chapter and The Society for Polymer Science (India) - Trivandrum Chapter are jointly organising the event.

ICAFM is expected to provide a platform for valuable interactions, gain exposure to the latest developments, share ideas and create an environment for collaborative multidisciplinary research in this area. The meet will comprise plenary/invited talks and oral/poster presentations. There are 560 delegates, including 300 students, 40 foreign delegates, 165 Indian scientists and 70 speakers.

ICAFM-2014 is the second in the series to provide a platform to discuss recent trends in Advanced Functional Materials. The performance of devices and equipments in electronic, electrical, aerospace, automotive, defence, nuclear and biological sectors relying on alloys, ceramics, polymers, composites etc with enhanced multifunctional properties will be discussed in the event.
