Association office-bearers told mediapersons here on the sidelines of the national executive meeting that the controllers were denied proper off days.

Providing adequate infrastructure, better pay, perks and promotions at par with Air Traffic Controllers, stress allowance are among the other demands.

The Association also urged the management to put an end to the unsafe practice of posting station masters, guards and medically decategorised staff in controlling operations.

The national executive committee meeting of the association concluded here on Saturday.

National president Rajesh Singh presided over thetwo-day meeting attended by 32 national executive committee members and 60 members from 16 zones and 45 divisions of Indian Railways.
