Kerala State Human Rights Commission the other day said it had settled 8,738 cases out of the total 9,144 cases filed before the commission in 2013.
In a statement, the commission said that the number of cases has gone up from the previous years.
A total of 7,489 cases were filed in 2012 and 5,561 cases were filed in 2011, the KSHRC said.
