The Third National Mental Arithmetic Olympiad organised by CMA will commence on Saturday at Al Saj convention centre, Kazhakkoottam. Around 1,000 children, selected from the national-level competitions, will participate in the Olympiad, said Sunil Kumar G, chairman of CMA, in a press meet here on Thursday.
Tai Chiang Ching from Taiwan, a known personality in the field of mental arithmetic training, and Tom Tho from Malaysia will judge the competition.
DGP Alexander Jacob, managing director of Kerala Police Housing and Construction Corporation Limited (KPHCC) , will inaugurate the valedictory function to be held in the evening.
Principal of CMA Vellayambalam Dileep Purushothaman, CMA CEO Sunil Kumar and CMA founder Tai Chiang Ching will also attend the function.
