60-yr-old Dies on Roadside

 A 60-year-old, who was allegedly in an inebriated condition, died on the roadside on Sunday morning. Kadinamkulam police said that the deceased Muthu was an alcoholic. According to police, Muthu while he was sitting with a friend in front of Kartika Theatre decided to lie down. After a while, Muthu’s friend who thought Muthu was sleeping tried to wake him up. However, when Muthu did not respond, his friend called the police. Muthu was declared brought dead at a private hospital. 

Held for Theft

Balaramapuram police arrested one person in connection with a theft in Mudavoorpara. Nagarajan was the person arrested. According to police, Nagarajan, with the help of two others, had broken into a house which was under construction and stole a bronze vessel and a water pump-set.
