Health Minister V S Sivakumar has evaluated the progress of the construction of the drains aimed at eradicating flooding on the Vanchiyoor court premises, by the Minor Irrigation Department .
He directed the Department officilas to prepare an estimate to install box culverts in the portions from Vanchiyoor to Pattoor of Amayizhanjan canal. He said that construction of box culverts and sidewalls would commence soon and the shifting of sewerage line of TRDCL in Vanchiyoor was almost over. TRDCL will execute the project of developing Vanchiyoor Junction, he added.
