THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Leaders cutting across political lines condoled the demise of Capt C P Krishnan Nair, war veteran and founder of the Leela Group of Hotels. Expressing deep condolence over the demise, Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty recalled the contributions of Nair to Kerala’s industrial development. “Krishnan Nair was a modern day industrialist who had commitment towards his home land,” said CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan. “He had taken special interest in Kerala’s development,” Power Minister Aryadan Mohammed said. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, Civil Supplies Minister Anoop Jacob too condoled the death.
