THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kozhikode has contributed exemplary talents in all fields and the entertainment industry is the foremost in it. But, for the first time, someone from the fashion industry has received international recognition.
Arun Ratna, who owns Fashion Runway and has had his successful stint in the fashion industry by choreographing several beauty pageants such as the Navy Queen, Miss South India, Queen of Malabar and Miss Hyderabad, has now been invited to train models for Miss Asia Pacific World.
Miss Asia Pacific World, which is one of the top pageants in the world, will be held in Korea this year. Beauty queens from over 50 countries will be participating in the pageant, including winners from India. “They have sent me the official papers to apply for visa. My session starts from May 23,” says an excited Arun.
Arun is the first Indian to be selected to train models for this pageant.
