Students Felicitated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The students in Thiruvananthapuram constituency who got A plus in SSLC and Plus Two examination were felicitated on Monday at a function at the Cotton Hill Government Higher Secondary School.

Inaugurating the felicitation, Health Minister V S Sivakumar said that education played an important role in shaping an individual’s personality.  Former Additional Chief Secretary

Babu Paul, who addressed the gathering, urged the students to maintain a ‘down to earth’ personality.

In the function, 149 SSLC students and 162 Plus Two students were felicitated. Others who spoke at the function said that the students who topped the SSLC and Plus Two exams should serve as role models to other students. 

The Plus Two students were given a book on Indian Democracy and the SSLC students were given ‘Mayoorashikha’, a book on mathematics.
