THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : A state-level consultation to discuss the problems related to cases of missing children will be held at the Government Guest House, Thycaud here on Thursday.
ADGP Special Services and Traffic R Sreelekha will be the main speaker at the meeting while a presentation of the National Child Tracking System, a software developed for helping to find missing children, will also be held.
State Informatics officer K Santhanaraman and Subrata Roy Gupta, a scientist from the National Informatics Centre, will present the software and explain its working to the gathering.
Childline India Foundation, Chennai would present an infographic on the children who went missing from the state followed by a discussion to be attended by the representatives of the Kerala Police, Special Juvenile Police Unit, District Child Protection Unit, Social Justice Department, Juvenile Justice Board, Childline, Child Welfare Committees and various other organisations.
