THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bangalore-based care provider Any Time Medicare Services Pvt. Ltd., in association with CSI Mission Hospitals, has set up a centre for personalised healthcare centre named ‘Ojus Any Time Medicare (Ojus ATM)’ at Technomall, Technopark. The healthcare centre will meet the needs of Technopark employees and their families and also residents living around.

The centre was formally inaugurated for added specialist services by CSI Bishop Dharmaraj Rasalam in the presence of dignitaries from the CSI Hospitals headed by director Bennet Abraham and including his team of specialists and officials from government, Technopark Park Centre and Technopark companies.

The healthcare services have been designed not only to take care of the immediate healthcare needs of individuals and their families, but also to ensure their optimum wellness. Future affliction with chronic diseases and frequent hospitalisations are avoided by early identification of the health risks faced by individuals due to intrinsic hereditary factors as well as self-inflicted lifestyle factors. Customers are empowered and assisted to manage own optimum healthcare and wellness through 24/7 knowledge resources.

‘’Conventional healthcare practice is reactive where one seeks the help of a doctor when one is ill. It is unfortunate that many lives are lost due to sudden medical emergencies. More than 65 per cent of deaths in India due to chronic diseases are preventable. Ojus ATM healthcare model is based on our personal experience and expertise in managing the healthcare wellness, especially of IT professionals. Our programme includes preliminary health screening, health audit, risk assessment and risk management offered as an annual package,” said Capt (retd) Dr G S Nayar, chairman, Ojus Any Time Medicare (ATM).

“The ATM concept in medical care ensures anytime, anywhere access to a doctor or paramedic for any first response emergency, routine consultation and assistance for information as walk-in, online or even by videoconferencing. Our unique Online Electronic Medical Record (EMR) ensures storage and access to health data anywhere and anytime for medical consultancy and emergency,” he added.

The centre will offer proactive healthcare screening followed by a fully-defined wellness programme based upon individual health profile. Its main services include AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy) as well as Acupuncture and Energy Medicine.
